Weddings in New Orleans bring a crowd that has to sleep somewhere close to each other. The getting-ready house, the groomsmen house, the house for the cousins: each Marais home is a private house for six to ten with its own kitchen, living room and, in most cases, a heated pool.
Every home is listed below. For a group over ten in one place, the band further down points to The Syd and CastleDay, which we also own and run. Ask us and we will match the headcount to the right property.

- The homes are for sleeping, eating and getting ready. Ceremonies and receptions are not held at the homes.
- Occupancy is the number on the listing. It is monitored and enforced.
- Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am, outside included.
- Getting ready at the house is fine. Tell us the morning plan and who is coming so cleaning is scheduled around it.
- Check-in 3pm, check-out 11am. The exact address comes with the booking confirmation.
Can we hold the ceremony or reception at a Marais home?
No. Marais homes are private houses with a no-events rule. For a wedding venue with rooms on site, CastleDay hosts up to 30 and is built for it.
We have 18 guests. Which property?
The Syd holds 11 to 25 across six villas around one pool. CastleDay holds up to 30. Both are ours; email hello@staymarais.com with the headcount and dates and we will tell you which fits.
Can the wedding party get ready at the house?
Yes. Tell us the morning schedule and who is coming so we can plan cleaning and any vendors around it.
